2nd December 2012 Hiking - Walking: Levington Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 4 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: After Friday fantastic day out in Norfolk today was a bit of an anti climax :( even though the weather was cold but sunny. Mag and I went for breakfast in the van by the marina and read about the good results from yesterday - Englands top win against the All Blacks and Ipswich Town moving further away from the bottom of the league :) We then had a couple of hour walk past Loompit Lake, through the countryside and back to the van. Sadly there were not many birds about, a few waders in the Orwell but hardly any hedgerow birds and no waxwings !!! which is a pity as they are being spotted everywhere at the moment. It would have been a nice day for a windsurf on the river with a nice breeze - perhaps tomorrow ? PS - the high light of the day was 10 or so deer sunbathing in a field :) but couldn't get close enough for a pic :( |
